Peter's Yard opens its doors at Edinburgh's Quartermile
Scotland's first Swedish bakery, Pete's Yard, has opened its doors at Edinburgh's prestigious property development Quartermile, to great acclaim as customers queue to sample a range of delicacies perfect for the Christmas season.
The very first retail outlet to open at Quartermile, Peter's Yard is proving extremely popular with local residents looking to indulge in Swedish specialities including artisan bread, open sandwiches, irresistible desserts, chocolates and marmalade using only the finest locally-sourced produce.
Located just off Middle Meadow Walk, the bakery is situated in one of the striking steel and glass buildings designed by the world-acclaimed architects Foster & Partners.
Open daily, Peter's Yard is distinctly Scandinavian in style combining contemporary interiors with a traditional, welcoming atmosphere.
