New Look opens at The Quarry Craigleith Retail Park, Edinburgh
The final new fashion retailer is opening at The Quarry, Craigleith Retail Park, Edinburgh.
Henderson Global Investors, the owners of the park, announced in May that New Look was to take 10,000 sq ft of space and after a fit-out the retailer will open its doors to the public on 17th August 206.
Earlier in the year Burtons, Dorothy Perkins, Clarks, Evans, Wallis and Next all took space at the new extension of the park, which Henderson recently completed, and are now trading.
Andrew Friend, head of the retail warehousing fund at Henderson Global Investors, says: "Following the opening of the stores for all the new retailers, we have experienced a large increase in visitors to the park and we expect this to increase further with New Look opening shortly."
Friend continues: "We have just one of the new units remaining at The Quarry and we are currently assessing opportunities within the existing park for new names going forwards."
Mike Spens, director at joint letting agent Savills, says: "Interest is high on the last remaining unit at The Quarry and we expect to announce a deal in the near future."
Other brands at The Quarry include: Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Mamas & Papas, Homebase, TK Maxx and JJB Sports. There is also a Sainsbury store within the park.
Culverwell is acting as joint agent with Savills at The Quarry.
